Privacy Policy

Moncton365 is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: June 26, 2026. Governing law: Province of New Brunswick, Canada.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information only when you choose to provide it, or when it is necessary to operate the service.

  • Lead magnet forms. When you submit the “Free Home Evaluation” or “New Listings Alert” forms, you voluntarily provide your name and email address. These forms are submitted through Formspree, a third-party form service (formspree.io). We do not sell this data.
  • Venue and event submissions. When a venue operator creates an account, we collect the name, email address, venue name, and event details they submit. This is used to publish and manage listings on Moncton365.
  • Authentication. To create an account, we collect your email address, which is handled by Supabase (supabase.com) for secure authentication.
  • localStorage. We store dismissal preferences in your browser so you do not see the same prompts repeatedly. The keys are: re_card_home_eval_dismissed, re_card_listings_alert_dismissed, neighbourhood_guide_dismissed. This data never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Display events and venue listings to the public.
  • Respond to lead-magnet requests and send requested information.
  • Authenticate venue operators and manage their submissions.
  • Improve and maintain the app.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted services to run Moncton365:

  • Formspree receives form submissions for the Free Home Evaluation and New Listings Alert lead magnets. Formspree processes your name and email on our behalf.
  • Supabase provides authentication, database, and backend services. Your account email and any data you submit are stored through Supabase.

We do not share your personal data with any other third parties, and we do not sell your data.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party analytics tools. We only use localStorage to remember whether you have dismissed a card or banner, and that data stays in your browser.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data for as long as it is needed to provide the service or as required by law. If you would like us to delete your data, please email us at privacy@moncton365.ca. We will process your request as soon as possible.

6. Children's Privacy

Moncton365 is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page, along with the effective date.
